According to La Voix Du Nord, Everton will face Arsenal in the race for Valenciennes defender Ismael Doukoure.
It is claimed that a large number of clubs want to sign Doukoure, with players like Barcelona, Benfica, Juventus and Roma also interested.
It would take a fee of around € 8 million (£ 7 million) to get Doukoure away from Valenciennes, with the teenager a wanted man.

The 17-year-old has been branded the next Dayot Upamecano, another talented defender to emerge from Valenciennes’ ranks.
Everton already have a pair of talented young center-backs in Mason Holgate and Ben Godfrey, but this rumor adds up given the speculation surrounding Yerry Mina.
The Sun reports that Mina wishes to move to Italy, with Inter Milan and Fiorentina eager to make a change to Serie A.

The Colombian has been injured again and Everton may decide to part ways with him this summer and bring in another defender.
Now many would expect a bigger name to come along, but maybe Everton plans to use Godfrey alongside Michael Keane or Holgate, and then have Doukoure developing behind them.
At £ 7 million, Doukoure could be a bargain for Everton, but they will have to beat Arsenal in his signature.
