The Fast & Furious film saga is one of the most successful, thanks to its action scenes and the cast led by Vin Diesel. Throughout the new installments, many personalities have been added, but few have stood out as much as Luke Hobbs.
The character, played by Dwayne Johnson, arrived in the fifth installment to revitalize fiction. However, it was also controversial due to the actor’s constant fights with Diesel through social networks.
In this regard, Vin Diesel told The Hollywood Reporter that he had to adopt a tough stance for Johnson to fully indulge in his role as Toretto’s rival, something that in his opinion he achieved.
“He was a difficult character to embody. My focus at that time was demanding to help him take that performance to where we needed to be. Hobbs hits the saga hard, like a ton of bricks. That’s something I’m proud of, that aesthetic. That took a lot of work and pressure. I did what I had to do to get that performance, “he explained.
