A fire broke out this Monday afternoon in a structure inside the Alfredo Nazar Feres Polytechnic High School, on the Playa Ancha hill in Valparaíso.
The emergency occurred on Avenida Federico Errázuriz with Playa Ancha, generating a column of smoke that was visible from different parts of the commune.

According to information collected by Radio Bío Bío in Valparaíso, the fire originated in a garbage container that was at the entrance of the campus and partially spread to the campus gym.
After being alerted by the educational community, nine fire units were dispatched to the scene to combat the emergency.
