A “ big rollers”
Bercy already promises for several weeks a new, more targeted system, which should be implemented from the beginning of the year 2023. It would be a new cheque, which is not entirely unanimous: “The French are more and more irritated by this idea of cheques, there are many who feel like they never have a right to it. We want a targeted device; which helps those who work,” to our colleagues a ministerial adviser.
Gabriel Attal, Minister Delegate; to the Minister of the Economy, explained that a device “big rollers” would be put in place to “support French people who need their car to have income from work”. This was to be in place before the summer. but had been abandoned for the benefit of the rebate for all.
For whom and how much
Since then, the system has been refined. A website of the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP) must be set up, allowing households to fill in their information and possibly benefit from assistance. Gabriel Attal clarified that the help would be for the “hardworking” to “support” French people who need their car to have income from activity”.
Still to be continued. define who will be able to benefit from this device and the amount thereof. 11 million households belonging to “lower and middle classes” would be affected. The State has provided an envelope of 1.6 billion euros for this new provision.
