Kia wins several Golden Steering Wheels — DR
It’s the new Niro EV that triumphed. at the Golden Wheels ceremony, considered the most important in Germany. The 100% electric crossover launched a few months ago dropped out the trophy in the hotly contested Compact SUV category. The icing on the cake: the Sportage Plug-in Hybrid took second place, ahead of the Volkswagen Taigo. As for the Kia EV6 GT, it took second place in the « medium size and luxury ».

The three winning Kias were among 47 new vehicles selected in a total of seven categories and named by the editorial staff of Auto Bild and Bild am Sonntag magazines. Readers then selected; three finalists in each category before a jury composed of of 21 experts thoroughly tests each car on the circuit.
