The president of the United States, Joe Biden, wished Elon Musk “good luck on his trip to the moon” after the businessman said he has a “super bad feeling” about the economy of the North American country.

“Ford is increasing investment in building new electric vehicles. Chrysler Corporation is also making similar investments, so, you know, good luck on your trip to the moon,” Biden replied when asked by a reporter for an opinion on Musk’s remarks.

Quickly, the CEO of Tesla responded to the president in an ironic way through Twitter. “Thank you Mr. President”Musk tweeted with a posting of a NASA article in which the agency states that “SpaceX will continue development of the first commercial human lander that will safely deliver the next two American astronauts to the lunar surface.” /p>

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he had a “feeling very bad” about the economy and that the electric car manufacturer needed to cut the workforce by around 10%.

In addition, last week it stated thatthe looming recession in the United States is “actually a good thing”, a necessary “rude awakening” after the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Twitter user He asked Musk if he still believed that the North American country is approaching a recession, to which the businessman replied yes. “But it’s actually a good thing. He has been pouring in money for far too long. There needs to be some bankruptcies”, said the billionaire who recently announced the acquisition of Twitter.

This crossover between Biden and Musk is not the first. Recently, the businessman said that the Democrat defeated Donald Trump in the 2020 elections because people in the United States wanted less drama. The owner of Tesla also said that the president was not elected to transform the country.

The owner of SpaceX said he wants a candidate “less polarizing” than Donald Trump for the next US election, to even though he plans to restore the former president’s Twitter account.

“Although I think a less divisive candidate would be better off in 2024, I still think Trump should be reinstated on Twitter ” Musk tweeted.
