Many hope that with the onset of summer the number of cases of coronavirus will decline due to heat — but so far there are no studies confirming this assumption. Moreover, a recent report scientists from the University of Aix-Marseille (France) categorically denies.
According to the authors of the study, the only way to kill Sars-COV-2 — heat treatment for 15 minutes at a temperature of 91C. When you try to use a standard measure of thermal disinfection and heating to 60C, the virus not only survives, but continues to replicate.
To date, the report can only be found on the bioRxiv website, which publishes scientific work before they get a review or undergo appropriate checks. This means that the conclusions of the authors of the study, Remy Sharelle and Boris Pastorino, so far are preliminary, though support concerns previously voiced by many other experts around the world.

According to epidemiologist Dr. Anthony Fauci, even if the warming will slow the spread of the virus, the slightest cold will trigger another outbreak — and the decline in the incidence of summer is inevitably followed by another peak in the fall.
