Boe has written the screenplay for ‘An Exquisite Bite’ with director and screenwriter Tobias Lindholm, who has directed the Netflix series ‘Mindhunter’ and written the scripts for Thomas Vinterberg films such as ‘The Hunt’ and ‘Another Round’. “I was interested in exploring why people stick together and share the dream of creating a family, but sometimes it fails,” says Boe. “In addition, avant-garde restaurants in Denmark are a growing industry and food filming is aesthetically very pleasing,” adds the director, who was documented together with Coster-Waldau in the best restaurants in Copenhagen.
