Kazakhstan recorded the first death from coronavirus infection COVID-19. About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to zakon.kz.

“Unfortunately, today, the coronavirus has died the citizen of Kazakhstan. We Express our deep condolences to the families of the deceased. It is an irreparable loss,” – said the Minister of information and social development of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev.

In addition, on March 15 the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has announced the introduction of a state of emergency in connection with the pandemic coronavirus. A state of emergency to last in the country until April 15.
