TOKYO (Reuters) – Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga spoke Wednesday with a powerful ruling party executive about an upcoming vote on the acronym’s leadership, officials involved told local media, a dispute that will determine who will lead the Liberal Democratic Party (PLD) to the next election, scheduled for November.
