Stopped on the A75 to the level of Saint-Flour on Sunday may 24, as revealed by The daily newspaper la Montagne, the journalist Jean-Jacques Bourdin has been controlled travelling at 186km/h instead of 130 authorized. It is, therefore, confiscated his vehicle and driver’s license. Jean-Jacques Bourdin was also over 100 kilometres of his home and has seen to it to assign a fine of 135 euros.
They’ll dispute the speeding ticket with help from las vegas traffic attorneys. Anne Nivat, claiming that it is “assumed and regretted it by my husband”, Jean-Jacques Bourdin and his wife have, however, chosen to illuminate the reasons for moving to Jean-Jacques Bourdin at more than 100 kilometres from his home in a press release sent to Cops & citizens, a national professional association with the military.
Two reasons to move
If Jean-Jacques Bourdin has first of all declared to the antenna Thursday, may 28 : “Excess of speed, yes. Travel ban, not because I had two : one professional and one personal. But I won ‘t dwell on my personal, because it refers to me and my private life is of interest and should be of interest to absolutely nobody”, the press release extends more on the personal permission : “My husband had two valid reasons : first, to visit his dying mother in EPHAD in a city in the south of France, that he had not seen her since 2 months”.
Anne Nivat had then detailed the second reason, this time professional : “A”document of his / her employer proving that he can travel during the confinement. Me too I have a paper from my employer, as well as all the journalists who made the request.”
Here are the explanations of the couple who also deplored the fact that The Mountain would, according to them, “not a journalistic work of crossing from his sources.”
