José Ramón San Cristobal , Mexican announcer popularly known as “El Estaca” , announced through his official Twitter account that he tested positive for COVID-19, a disease of the current pandemic that is hitting Mexico.
The driver received his results and informed the people with whom he had contact in the last two weeks to take the necessary preventive measures against the coronavirus.
My Coronavirus test result is positive. I have already notified all the people with whom I had any contact in the past two weeks.
He asked the Mexicans not to lower their guard, use the mask, wash their hands and take care of the other measures dictated by the Ministry of Health itself to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
“El Estaca” was born in 1969 in the Mexican capital. He started as a host in 2004 as part of the Planeta 3 a Chaleco program, he also participated in the reality show Big Brother VIP and currently hosts the television show ¡Qué importa! He was also part of the team of the Expreso de la Mañana program together with Esteban Arce, who also tested positive for COVID-19.
The news of Arce was given by his own colleagues from the program who announced: ” Esteban Arce, has tested positive for COVID-19 and therefore does not accompany us in this space, of which he is the owner.” However, after two weeks he managed to overcome the disease.
Another well-known case in the Mexican show was that of Andrés Legarreta, who returned to his work as host of the program “Hoy” on September 21.

In addition, her husband Erik Rubín and their two daughters were also infected with the disease . He commented that he suffered from pneumonia during his recovery.
Recently, the son of Eugenio Derbez and Victoria Ruffo, José Eduardo Derbez reported that he had been infected with the disease, which is why he decided to leave his social networks for a while.

The actress and comedian Consuelo Duval was also another of the infected women in show business. Through his Instagram account, he reported about his condition: ” A week ago they gave me the result of the COVID test … and when I read positive, my world fell apart, I had never felt so much fear in my life.”

These celebrities are now part of the 789,780 confirmed cases of the disease as of October 5 in Mexico . In addition, the Ministry of Health reported that of the total infected 34,915 are considered to be the active epidemic, that is, they presented symptoms in the last 14 days.
This would be the tenth consecutive week that the outbreak of the disease is on the downside. The entities most affected by SARS-CoV-2 are Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Nuevo León and Veracruz . On the other side of the spectrum, where fewer cases of COVID-19 have been registered are Chiapas, Nayarit, Campeche, Morelos and Colima . In this way, health authorities will continue to track the disease and promote a staggered reactivation.
