The Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD) awarded the the Listín Diario journalist, Patria Reyes as co-winner of the “George Arzeno Brugal” Industrial Journalism Award; in the Daily News category.
The report presented by Reyes, to participate in the contest, was “Cosmetics made in the country win markets” .
Upon receiving the award, the journalist from the Economics session of Listín Diario, he thanked the distinction to the organizers, co-workers, friends and family.

“In this path that we travel, in the exercise of economic journalism, there is a lot of learning and many hands that push us to grow, for this reason, I want to thank those who saw me start my journalistic career, in the Perió I say Today, and to those who, in the Listín Diario, have believed in my abilities, especially our director, Miguel Franjul and our deputy director, Fabio Cabral”, he said at the delivery of the thirteenth edition ;n.
At the end of his words, Patria Reyes advocated so that the journalistic career with better salaries is revalued and dignified.
The works chosen by the AIRD were disseminated between January 1, 2021 and December 31 of that year. o.
The Award has two categories in written and/or digital press (Economic-Industrial Journalism and Research Papers). Each of these categories has an economic endowment of RD$300,000 pesos.
In addition to Reyes, this category was won by Martín Polanco of the newspaper El Caribe.
Felivia Mejía, of Forbes Magazine, won the award. in the Research category, and Pedro Caba received the Economic Journalism Lifetime Achievement Award.
