The Osorno court sentenced a man to 17 years in prison accused of domestic violence. Among the crimes that he was charged with are homicide, attempted parricide and femicide.
The Oral Criminal Court of Osorno sentenced a man accused of domestic violence in January 2021, in the Los Lagos region.
According to the ruling of the court, Soto Hernández was found guilty of the crimes of parricide, homicide and femicide in attempted degree. In other words, he had the intention of killing relatives and acquaintances, but it did not materialize due to other facts.
This was indicated by the prosecutor in charge, Joaquín Yañez, detailing that “the Oral Criminal Court of Osorno, carried out the reading of the conviction handed down against the defendant with the surnames Soto Hernández, as guilty of the crimes of homicide, parricide and attempted femicide”.
