A statement by the Ministry of National Education, on Friday, stated that this process aims to ensure safe conditions for the start of the next school year and to have a positive impact on the quality of academic achievement and the acquisition of basic learning.
The scientific committee in charge of the national vaccination strategy recommended the necessity of vaccinating children between 12 and 17 years old to protect all female citizens, given the escalation of positive cases recorded there.
And she considered that vaccinating children is an important step to accelerate the achievement of collective immunity, with the adoption of the use of the “Sinopharma” and “Pfizer” vaccines, which international experiences have proven their effectiveness and safety in this age group.
The Scientific Committee stressed that this process should be voluntary, optional, and conditional on the approval of the parents of the female learners and male learners.
