Atletico Mineiro has already played five matches in the Minero Championship and won them all. I hardly have any opposition in this competition. On Friday, Gallo Coimbra faced a junior team from Mina Gerais in Mineirao and Ignacio Martin Fernandez made his official debut. The former River played as a left midfielder and was essential to defeat his struggling side in the first minutes of the match against Coimbra. But after 27 minutes, everything changed thanks to Nacho. After overtaking by Chile Vargas and a precise pass to the penalty spot, Nacho entered from the left and called his head, leaving the opposing goalkeeper without any chances. Atletico Mineiro won 1-0 with a goal from a talented midfielder.
Minutes later, in 36 of the first half, Gallo increased the score through Igor Rapella who, after a corner kick by Nacho Fernandez to perfection, won in front and with a header he managed to score 2 to 0..
