The death toll from a road accident in Nigeria on Tuesday is particularly dramatic. At least 37 people have been killed in a collision of several buses, in the northeast of the country, announced the authorities.
The accident happened near the town of Maiduguri, when two commercial buses collided head-on and burst into flames. A third bus then hit them, said Utten Boyi, head of the Security Agency; road trip to Borno State.

Earlier on Tuesday, 17 people were killed and four injured when their bus crashed into a truck near Abuja, the capital, reported local media. On Saturday, nine people drowned when their overloaded vehicle drove off. dived in a dam after a tire burst near Kano in the north of the country, according to local officials.
