Belarus held presidential elections.
Yesterday, August 8, the Executive Director of the public movement “Open Russia” Andrei Pivovarov and two other members of the organization detained at the Russian-Belarusian border, when they went as observers to the presidential elections in Belarus, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Country.
This was stated by the head of the “Open Russia” Anastasia Burakova.
“All other passengers have traveled safely across the border, and they were removed from the flight. They had to tell us about it, then lost touch with them, still we can’t get through to them,” — said Burakova.
We will remind, in Belarus a few days before the presidential election, which will take place this Sunday, the tensions, and the country expect the Maidan and its subsequent dispersal.
