The dance of possible incorporations to UD Ibiza continues, which this season will play for the first time in its history in the Spanish Second Division. The last to be in the orbit of the Ibiza club is Brazilian defender Patrick William, a 24-year-old central defender owned by Famalicao, team with which he played last season in the Primeira Liga, the First Division of Portugal.
As El Desmarque advanced on Monday, the player is close to landing in the Ibizan team and putting himself under the command of Juan Carlos Carcedo. He would be the third defender to arrive at Ibiza, after the incorporations of Cifu and Álex Gálvez.
After his senior years in Brazil, William landed in Europe two seasons ago, to enlist in the ranks of Famalicao. With the Portuguese team he has participated in a total of 45 official matches, mainly in the country’s league competition. Although his main position is that of central, he can also play on both sides. The defender, who measures 1.83 meters, has a contract with Famalicao until June 30, 2024.
