People go from anger caused by power outages, at times of a strong heat wave, to express their protests with burning tires to displays of creativity with memes in which they are mixed. the images of candles, matches, lamps and darkness with the image of the President of the Republic , the director of Edenorte and other elements.

On Wednesday night, protests were registered in sectors such as Padre Las Casas, Penetration al Muelle Avenue, Barrio Haiti, the entrance to the Villa Progreso neighborhood, close to the facilities of the distribution center of the Cervecería Nacional Dominicana as well as like the dry bridge of this city.

In the last few days, only the circuit that corresponds to the historic center of Puerto Plata has been saved from power interruptions, as well as the city. such as the neighborhoods that receive the service of the Puerto Plata de Electricidad company that supplies energy to the Playa Dorada complex and to the sectors of Cerro Verde, El Doral, La Estancia, the Coca Cola urbanization, Torrealta and Cerromar, among others.
