Max Verstappen behind the wheel of the Red Bull Honda took the pole position of the Belgian GP, setting the best time on the legendary track of Spa Francorchamps. Qualifying took place in the rain and Versttapen set the time for 1’59 ″ 765 with intermediate tires.
On the starting grid Verstappen divides the front row with the surprising George Russell with Williams, 321 thousandths away from Red Bull. From the third box Lewis Hamilton sprints while the two Ferrari remained out of Q3 with the11th time for Charlse Leclerc and the 13th for Carlos Sainz in Q2.

The track of Spa Francorchamps confirmed all its charm and danger, especially notice it rains on the Ardennes. In fact, Q3 was interrupted for about 50 minutes due to theaccident reported by McLaren by Lando Norris.
The Englishman lost control of his car in the rain at the infamous point ofEau Rouge and bumped his rear into the barriers.
