In the first action, 27 minutes into the first half, JOnathan Sandoval, Del Picchu, ran Eugenio Mina with his elbow, leaving him lying on the ground. Ceballos decided to ignore the situation and didn’t even threaten to pull a card out of his pocket.
The second was in the 31st minute, when Enzo Cubetti jumped to challenge the ball with Marco De Cesar. The Argentinos player was warned, but did not mind pushing the Racing striker, causing an injury in the face.. Faced with this, and despite the fact that the academy showed it to him, the referee did not draw a card of any color.
At the end of the first half, at 44 minutes, Sandoval defeated Lionel Miranda again. The Racing Team complained, but again Ceballos didn’t show a card and locked it in with a simple wake-up call.
It should be noted that Ceballos will not be the referee: Silvio Trucco was appointed to manage the match between Racing and Argentina, but was replaced by the Argentine Football Association (AFA). From the professional league they confirmed that it was because of Prof. Close contact with coronavirus.
