An elderly anti-fascist activist of about forty years has been condemned Thursday by the Rennes criminal court after an attack on the Rennes-2 university campus. The man, already condemned several times in the past, has suffered one year in prison with the possibility of adjustment of sentence. It is also forbidden to appear on the Rennes-2 site for two years.
The alleged acts took place on October 18. A general assembly was held in an amphitheater in the presence of students. A violent altercation had broken out. after the arrival of three people identified by participants as neo-Nazi militants. An interpretation denied by the victim suffering from several wounds by blows, in particular to the body. the head.
