After Regina Blandón revealed that she was a victim of abuse by a domestic worker for his relatives, Roberto Blandón questioned his daughter’s statements and even assured that “it was not that serious”.

In May, Regina Blandón revealed in an interview with Isabel Lascurain that in her childhood she was a victim of sexual abuse by a man who worked at her grandparents’ house in Acapulco.

He denied that at any point he would have almost “beaten to death” the the person who abused Regina, as he commented that “no, it didn’t go that far”.

The actor commented that he was unaware that the protagonist of La familia P. Luche had spoken publicly about it, so he would have a conversation with her to find out the details of what she said.

According to the actress recounted, the man who worked at her grandparents’ house would get into the room she shared with her brother at night and abuse her.

“He had spent years and years (working there). He was married to the cook of the house and he went into my room at night. There was no rape as such, but there was sexual abuse. Sometimes my brother was asleep in the bed next to me and he is not even aware of it or was not aware of it until very recently, ”he said in the interview with Isabel Lascurain.
