On behalf of the representative of the League of Anticorruption Governors, his adviser Ángel Beccassino told Semana that, even though Federico ‘Fico’ Gutiérrez (representative of traditional parties such as Radical Change, Democratic Center, Liberal and Conservative ) expressed their support this very Sunday, they are not willing to receive this support. He even denied that they will be seen together in a photograph.
“What we are going to seek is the unity of the country. We are not going to stick to political flags that mark fragments of the country. We hope that in this second round there will be a country that expresses itself through votes that have individualities, that come from Sergio Fajardo, from a lot of other places that will express the many versions of Colombia that want this change that Rodolfo is representing right now. ”, asserted the strategist.

Similarly, he assured that the former mayor of Bucaramanga would most likely be willing to attend future debates against Gustavo Petro, as he warns that he has “very clear proposals” against those of his opponent. However, he also warns that they are going to study this possibility very well and his final decision will depend on how they see the position of the representative of the Historical Pact.
“These are issues that we are going to study over the course of these 20 days. In principle, yes, because we have very clear proposals compared to those of Gustavo Petro. However, there are times when, how things are being considered by Petro, aggressively, trying to do damage, in one of those he tells us that it is not convenient to do it or it is not convenient or intelligent to go to that kind of circus of wrestling ”, explained Beccassino in his talk with said medium.
