The expert noted that benefits and additional payments for this category of persons are federal and regional. The first is for all retirees, regardless of where they live. In particular, non-working pensioners over 70 have the right to pay capital repair contributions with a 50 percent discount in the absence of arrears and provided that the housing is owned. In addition, this category of persons can receive a subsidy for partial compensation of the cost of utility bills, if at least 22 percent of the pensioner’s monthly income is spent on paying for utility services.

Upon reaching 80 years of age, single citizens are completely exempt from paying these payments. In addition, for people over 80 years old, a supplement to the pension is provided in the form of a 100% increase in its fixed part. You can get benefits by personally contacting the branch of the Pension Fund of Russia or the MFC, or by sending a corresponding application through the State Services website.
Regional benefits and surcharges depend on the state of the local budget. They can be about medical support, discounts at grocery stores or free drugs, and so on.
Earlier, the expert of the non-state pension fund (NPF) “Future” Yevgeny Biesbardis told Russian pensioners about taxes that do not require payment. So, they do not need to pay taxes related to income and property.
