Two world records in seconds in the 100 meters class t63 at the Tokyo Paralympics. First the 14 ”39 of Ambra Sabatini, who improves her previous record (14” 59) by winning the first heat in front of Monica Contraffatto (14 ”72), former Bersagliere who lost a leg in combat in Afghanistan.
Shortly after, in the second heat, it was Martina Caironi’s turn to lower him again, with 14 ”37. Three Italians then in the final of the early afternoon, moreover with the first three times.
