Weather: Air mass limit expected in Germany – there will be thunderstorms
The warm air from the south is pumped far north on the front of the storm – from Tunisia to Italy and Croatia to Poland and the Baltic countries. Germany doesn’t even get the warmest air, and yet, for example, 35 degrees are expected in Lusatia on Thursday. The east heats up the most, and this is where most of the Saharan dust will be seen. In the west there is still the Atlantic air from the weekend. Thunderstorms will then most likely occur at the air mass limit.
During the course of Thursday the heat wave will end with many thunderstorms. In the far east, it can hold up until Friday. If you want to take advantage of the nice weather, it is best to concentrate on Tuesday or Wednesday. (cg)
