Geneticists have reported a breakthrough in research.
Company Genotek scientists have learned to predict the appearance of future children on the basis of the DNA of their parents, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to changeua.com.
“We managed to create an algorithm, which yesterday was considered an absolute fiction, but today it is a reality. We are talking about technologies that are able to identify some features of the appearance of the unborn not even conceived child,” say company officials Genotek.
In recent years, geneticists have identified several hundred genes that determine a person’s appearance. These genetic sequences are asking, in particular, height and weight, facial features, a tendency to excess weight, physical strength, and many other parameters.
“To understand these genes is quite difficult — the shape of the nose, for example, ask four gene, and the sharpness of the chin is encoded with just one. Development close to artificial intelligence systems allows us to bring the analysis process to a new level of quality and to calculate the appearance of a person on the basis of three dozen sites of the genome,” noted genetics.
