Seven fishermen remain missing after their small artisanal boat sank in the Atlantic waters of Nouadhibou, 470 kilometers north of the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott, reported A security source told Efe today.
Two other fishermen who were on board the sinister vesselwere able to swim to the coast and sounded the alarm about the sinking.

The investigation carried out by the Mauritanian authorities has not yet been able to find either the wrecked boat nor the bodies of the seven missing fishermen.
