Skoda Enyaq iV welcomes all-wheel drive in its range, with the electric SUV of the Bohemian house that also lists the 80x version, thus completing its line-up. The 4 × 4 variant of Mlada Boleslav’s high-wheeled model adds a second electric motor, for one power of 195 kW and a maximum torque of 425 Nm that give dynamism to the zero-emission model of Skoda. The Enyaq iV 80x range adds the Executive and Sportline trim levels to the entry level, with the price list starting at 49,000 euros.
Skoda, Ford and Toyota in their sights
Enyaq iV 80x moves in most situations by exploiting the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM) on the rear axle, which provides an output of 204 hp / 150 kW and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. The PSM is designed in an axially parallel configuration, together with the inverter and the single speed gearbox. At the front, on the other hand, an asynchronous motor is mounted, designed with a pulse inverter and a single-speed gearbox in coaxial arrangement. This engine has an output of 80 kW, a maximum torque of 162 Nm and a maximum operating speed of 13,500 rpm. Asynchronous motors are characterized by a short-term overload capability and low pressure drops. They are therefore perfect for short-term thrusts. Enyaq iV 80x is powered by an 82 kWh gross battery (77 kWh net) and can travel up to 497 km in the WLTP cycle. The top speed is electronically limited to 160 km / h like the other variants, iV 50, iV 60 and iV 80, already present in the price list. The fast charging capacity reaches 125 kWh.

Like the other variants, too Škoda Enyaq iV 80x is available in the version Executive, designed for the needs of professional users and companies, thanks to a particularly complete standard equipment. Enyaq Executive iV adds to the standard equipment ADAS Side Assistant systems with Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, metallic paint, connected satellite navigator. In addition, the Škoda Enyaq iV 80x is offered in the Sportline version, which combines sporty aesthetics with technical equipment designed to make dynamic behavior even more engaging. Enyaq Sportline iV is in fact equipped with a sports suspension, lowered by 15 mm at the front and 10 mm at the rear, with specific calibration of springs and shock absorbers.
