Promised as early as the month of April by the government, the bonus of € 1,000, promised to help at home will be well paid by the departments. The Head of State confirmed.
The subjects of old age, dependence and loss of autonomy will be at the heart of the latter part of the quinquennium of Emmanuel Macron with a draft law, announced for the beginning of the year 2021. The President of the Republic does not, however, expected to confirm the taking into account of the requests of help at home.
Help at home, occupation, to enhance
Has the opportunity of a move to Toulon, the 4th of August last, the President of the Republic has paid tribute to these 326.000 employees in the home, that accompany the daily lives of 800,000 senior citizens and more than 300,000 people in situation of handicap. Without detailing the future reform, he insisted that these professions are valued and that measures are taken to improve their working conditions.
It has also, and especially, confirmed 80 million euros from the State would be paid to the departments, so that they can pay a premium of € 1,000 for each employee concerned.
Promised as early as the month of April by the government, this bonus could only be paid by the departments, in charge of the management of these aids at home. And this has led to a large disparity in the application of this promise in government, leading to the anger of the employees. The Head of State therefore provides a solution by funding this recognition of the efforts of home care workers during the crisis of the Covid-19.
For the employees concerned, it will, nevertheless, still have to wait several weeks before being able to collect the premiums, the time for the county councils to come together and deliberate.
