The birthday tradition

When someone has a birthday, they arrive at a new chapter of their life. A year has seven cycles of 52 days, the one before the birthday is usually more vulnerable, the ancients knew of that fragility of that moment and they made rituals to strengthen and protect the person who it celebrated its solar return. 

According to tradition, a sweet sponge cake with a sigh that is shared means the material obtained, on which the birthday candles are lit for the spiritual part , as protection from poorly qualified energies and asking for assistance from God, just as happy songs are sung to spiritual assistance; gifts are given asking for prosperity or happiness for the new cycle that begins.

When blowing out the birthday candle a secret wish is made, the fire is not blown out because we move the element away from our being; however, blowing out the birthday candle is part of the joy and celebration.

The relatives give a gift to mark the new stage. This year, I have the blessing of honoring my fifty-seventh anniversary with this delivery, in gratitude to the Eternal for the experiences on this plane, family, friends, and adversaries, all teachers, part of the Divine plan. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
