POLLS TODAY 16 JULY 2021
POLITICAL ELECTORAL POLLS TODAY – The latest polls underline a propensity of Italians for the center-right compared to the yellow and red line-up formed mainly by the Democratic Party and the 5 Star Movement. To say it is the Supermedia of YouTrend for Agi: the Lega of Matteo Salvini remains stable in first place, followed by the Brothers of Italy of Giorgia Meloni and the Democratic Party of Enrico Letta.
The M5S accuses the blow after the tug-of-war between Giuseppe Conte and Beppe Grillo, losing almost 2 percent in seven days: despite the former prime minister and the Genoese comedian they seem to have reached an agreement to give life to the new pentastellato course, chaos and fears remain absolute protagonists in a phase as uncertain as it is delicate. All the other parties remain more or less unchanged, with the exception of Article 1 and the Italian Left which earn almost half a point each: thus the two components of the (former) Free and Equal list obtain their highest figure overall (4, 5 percent) since the beginning of the legislature.
The League occupies the first position with a slight decrease of 0.1 percent which places it at 20.4 percent. Brothers of Italy are slightly behind, gaining 0.1 percent and reaching 20.2 percent. The Democratic Party of Enrico Letta completes the ranking with 19.4 per cent, up 0.2 per cent.
It is getting really bad for the 5 Star Movement, now in free fall: the grillini have lost 1.7 percent and have thus sunk to 15 percent. Forza Italia grows by 0.1 percent and reaches 7.7 percent. The ranking is completed by Carlo Calenda shares (3.4 per cent, +0.1 per cent), Italia Viva by Matteo Renzi (2.2 per cent, +0.1 per cent), Sinistra Italiana (2.1 per cent) , +0.2 per cent), Article 1-Mdp (2.1 per cent, + 0.3 per cent), + Europe (stable at 1.7 per cent) and the Greens (unchanged at 1.6 per cent) one hundred).
