The United States organizes the Summit of the Americasfor the first time since its launch in 1994, in Miami, as part of an effort to galvanize support for a free trade agreement that stretches from Alaska to Patagonia.
The summit takes off this Monday in Los Angeles with strong turbulence after the exclusion of Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela, as well as the desertion of the president of Mexico from this meeting in which the migratory crisis is the main course.
