Analysts and various prominent figures say that politics is dynamic, if not, let Gustavo Petro say so:again it will be in a second presidential round, having as formula the social and environmental leader, Francia Márquez Mina. On the other hand, there is Rodolfo Hernández, described by various sectors as the ‘Colombian Trump’ or the ‘populist’ because of his controversial proposals, such as the one that focuses on “taking the Colombian family to know the sea”.
Beyond his initiatives, the former mayor of Bucaramanga was not spared from the electoral ‘winks’ of the left-wing candidate before the first round of elections on May 29. In fact, the engineer also applauded some of the proposals and Petro’s speech, as evidenced in a first act of ‘consensus’ that Hernández began with various praises for his now opponent on his way to the Casa de Nariño.
In April, and in dialogue with Radio Nacional, the man born in Piedecuesta said: “I analyzed Petro when he was mayor of Bogotá, and the result was 3.7 out of 5. How much did Petro expropriate? ? How many barbershops did he remove? How many estates did he expropriate?″. AND He added that, although he had flaws in the district administration, in general his management was good.

These words were heard by Petro himself, who spared no wisdom in saying that < b>“The attitude of engineer Rodolfo Hernández is plausible”.
In addition, he highlighted, through a trill, the importance of acknowledging the efforts made by his rivals: “It is difficult in a presidential campaign for someone to decide not to attack and, instead, to acknowledge.”

But Petro’s approaches to Hernández did not start there. According to the engineer, more than two years ago he was contacted by the senator to offer to be his vice-presidential formula; supposedly he thought of him before Francia Márquez.
“I’ve had five sancochos with him, and two and a half years ago, he told me: you and I are invincible, I give you the vice presidency of the republic and you accompany me in this process, that the commitment is to get all these thieves out of the government”, said the candidate for the Anti-Corruption Leaders League.
“I hear. Listening is free, it costs me nothing. He paid for lunch, and how could I not have lunch,” also related the former president who, at 77, became the first oldest candidate for the presidency of Colombia in its recent history.
“I would vote for Petro”, was the compliment that Rodolfo Hernández gave the left-wing candidate in October of last year. This response arose from the questioning by the journalist Juan Diego Alvira about who he would give his vote to if he did not go to the second round.
The candidate from Santander indicated that he would choose his current electoral rival because, according to him, he did know “what to do”, and he sentenced saying: “What I have in my My imagination, until today, October 23, is that he has precisely what needs to be done. I don’t know if he will.”
Added to that, at the beginning of May, the Piedecuesta native said that Petro “conquered the hearts of Colombians” in dialogue with Semana. He also explained that part of his electorate is motivated by a change due to the criticism received by the government of Iván Duque.
Thus, the winks between the two will be left behind, because before the June 29, the day of the second presidential round, both candidates will be in charge of defending their own speech, pointing out the questions of one and the other to generate more conviction in their followers, in addition to attracting more votes that allow one of the two, get to the House of Nariño.
