Representative of the leadership of the Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) Vahidullu Hashemi announced the possibility of creating a council headed by the leader of the movement, Khibatullah Akhundzad, to govern Afghanistan. It is reported by TASS citing Afghan television.

We will have ministers, and all these ministers will be appointed by the head of the council. Amirul Momini (“Leader of the Faithful”), whose name is Mavlavi Khibatullah Akhundzada, is our religious and political leader. But now he is not playing the role of president. He plays a more significant role, ”Hashemi said.

On August 15, the Taliban entered Kabul and declared full control over the territory of Afghanistan. They assured that they would soon approve the Islamic Emirate on Afghan territory and proclaim the rule of Sharia law.
