In a crowded event, where renowned health professionals from the Dominican Republic participated, Edition Number I of the RD Medical Gazette Magazine was put into circulation, a new dissemination space specialized in Topics of a Scientific Medical Nature put at the service of the country.
This first installment includes articles by prestigious Dominican and foreign doctors, such as Drs. Joaquín Puello Herrera, Eduardo Mejía Jabid, Juan F. Batlle Pichardo, Yori Roque, Eduardo Mejía Santana, Félix Hernández, Alfredo Portela, Lizardi de la Cruz, Alfredo Polanco, Hernando Baquero, Sildia Piñ ;a, Ángel González, Edwin Navia, Walid Elías Hiart and Jorge Andrés Salamanca.
The activity took held at the Intercontinental Hotel, in this capital.
It was headed by Dr. Jorge Andrés Salamanca, a Colombian medical expert in Health Sciences, who is the ideologue and general director of the magazine Gaceta Médica RD, who is accompanied by a renowned team of health and communication professionals.

Batlle Pichardo speaks on “Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery: Current status and future perspectives”.
“Plastic Surgery After s of Pregnancy”, is another of the contributions that Gaceta Médica RD brings in this first issue by Dr. Eduardo Mejía Santana and Dr. Eduardo Mejía Jabid focuses his contributions on the topic “Otitis Externa and/or Swimmer’s Otitis”.
