The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, presides over the meeting held at the San Esteban Palace from six in the afternoon after the last episodes of dead fish in the lagoon
The Governing Council of the Region of Murcia meets in an extraordinary way this Friday afternoon, starting at 6:00 p.m., to address the situation of the Mar Menor. Different beaches of the lagoon have appeared in recent days with thousands of dead fish and mollusks. This same Friday, for the fifth consecutive day, numerous bodies were found again on several beaches in La Manga, which had to be closed to bathers to facilitate the passage of heavy machinery and the work of cleaning technicians.
