Vehicles will be able to circulate from Avenida de Levante (Beniaján) to Zeneta, where it will connect with the ‘highway of the bancal’ towards the Mar Menor
There is already a date for the opening to traffic of the eastern section of the Reguerón highway, which will connect from Levante avenue (in the Beniaján district) to the one known as the bancal highway, in Zeneta: it will be next Thursday, September 9 . This road will serve to streamline and improve the connection between Murcia, the Mar Menor and part of the Alicante coast, as an alternative corridor to Puerto de la Cadena; and it has become one of the most unique, complex and expensive works undertaken by the State Highways Demarcation in the Murcia Region (dependent on the Ministry of Transport and Mobility), due to the characteristics of the land and its functionality.
