The National Commission for the Centenary of the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Altagracia , has the pleasure of inviting you to the opening of the play “Niña de Trejo, Oral history of the cult of the Virgin of Altagracia”, authored by Alcides Díaz Batista, a play that He recounts how the historical documentary and oral events that led to the birth of his devotion and worship occurred on the island.
The play is staged by the students of Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, Consa, who with a genius and dynamic performance keep the viewers constantly attentive to all the content, narrative and artistic.
Nina de Trejo, the play, is on. based on the investigations of more than two years of the journalist, writer and historian Alcides Díaz Batista, who is also the executive secretary of the National Organizing Commission of the Centenary of the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Altagracia.
The play was put on in the Auditorium of the Casa San Pablo at eight at night (8:00 PM:), and for this purpose it has been invited to personalities from the entire estate of national life for being this work presented for the first time in our country. More than fifty young students and artists from CONSA come together throughout the content of this important evening, which all Catholics and fervors of the Virgin of Altagracia should not miss. The cost of the work is 500 pesos.
