Representative of the leadership of the Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) Vahidullu Hashemi announced the possibility of creating a council headed by the leader of the movement, Khibatullah Akhundzad, to govern Afghanistan. It is reported by TASS citing Afghan television.

We will have ministers, and all these ministers will be appointed by the head of the council. Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the Taliban movement banned in Russia could be excluded from the Russian list of terrorist organizations, depending on their steps and actions. “This is a question that arises from concrete actions, steps and policies. On August 15, the Taliban entered Kabul and declared full control over the territory of Afghanistan. They assured that they would soon approve the Islamic Emirate on Afghan territory and proclaim the rule of Sharia law.
