We have known for a long time that Netflix was working on a live-action adaptation of Cowboy bebop, and it was only recently that they revealed the first official images of the project along with its release date. Within these photos we can see Ein, the adorable corgi that will be accompanying our heroes on their adventures. Although those who saw the anime are already familiar with the character, it seems that his live-action version will be somewhat different from what was seen in the original work of Shininchiro Watanabe.
Talking with Polygon, Andre Nemec, showrunner of the series, revealed what we can expect from Ein in this future adaptation. Here in his own words:
“Ein is definitely in the show and he is part of the team. As always, there was something we had to tell about each of the characters. What is the soul of these characters? We work that same with Ein. “
