Disney continues its quest to movies live-action. Recently, we heard talk about a project around the snow Queen, or even Tarzan and Hercules. As we know, all the great classics of the mother house of Mickey mouse are designed to go on and finish then their life on the streaming platform, home, Disney+. Remains to know in what order and what casting, it is possible to attract every time. Pinocchio is also on the agenda, and Tom Hanks may well be of the adventure.
Tom Hanks, a superstar of Pinocchio ?
The actor, who has just signed Greyhound on Apple TV+, had already been associated with the project of live-action Pinocchio some time ago. But, he had then disappeared. The good news is that negotiations are again in progress for the adaptation of the movie. It is the actor on which Disney has long set his sights for the role of the wood carver and father of Pinocchio, the puppet became a real boy.
If Tom Hanks makes his return in this project, it is due to the choice of director. While until then it was Paul King who was concerned, Robert Zemeckis has succeeded him. The two men have already exchanged on the subject, reports the website Deadline.
