The North American Hockey League mourns the death of Matiss Kivlenieks
A tragedy huge one that hit the Columbus Blue Jackets. The team goalkeeper, Matiss Kivlenieks, died at the age of 24 from a firework that hit him in the chest. The heartbreaking affair took place during the 4th of July celebrations in the United States. The North American hockey league and the entire sports world are mourning the death of the 24-year-old.
The 4th July it represents an important day for Americans since it symbolizes Independence Day. The celebrations that were held in the United States on the occasion of this holiday have turned into a real tragedy. Matiss Kivlenieks, 24-year-old Columbus Blue Jackets goalkeeper, died from a firework that hit him in the chest.
