During a road accident, two people lost their lives and at least eight more victims are injured as a result of the impact between a trailer and a passenger truck on federal highway 1110 at kilometer 46 in its Abasolo – Pénjamo section.
The incident occurred around 7:30 am on Thursday when the driver of the trailer crossed the lane and hit the bus of the Yellow Arrow group. Both drivers died at the scene, while eight of the passengers were transferred to the Pénjamo hospitals to receive medical attention; five of them are serious.

The trailer driver was burned after the trailer cabin caught fire from the strong impact. Likewise, the operator of the passenger truck was left dead when he was hit head-on.
First aiders, firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene. So far the name of the victims is unknown.
