From the Fifth Step, a very small Duki with dreams of rising as a champion of freestyle battles on his block, his neighborhood, his country, traveled one fine day to tour the main cities of Mexico, where , in the voice of Mauro himself,I couldn’t even imagine that people would listen to his music, we’re not even talking about knowing each other as a manifesto, perhaps something closer to fanaticism, each of his songs, even the slightest onomatopoeia.
What we expected there was a party of reggaeton, rap and trap to move our hips, our hands, or even our heads in a rock and roll impulse, but the surprise far exceeded expectationsof all the pachangueros that we saw in the Argentine, the next great generation of Latin American perreo.
Nothing else out of the norm. In a quasi-revolutionary attitude, and without any respect for the establishment, he attacked the platforms with brutality, little visual spectacle, but a lot of spirit in the songs.
< p class=”paragraph”>It’s no surprise that rap, trap and reggaeton bands take to the stage with a classic rock and roll band. What was surprising at the Pepsi Center was that everything will revolve around the music that finds its bases in the blues, full of guitar solos, a fair of riffs and very violent drums that kept people fired up from start to finish .

He got very close to the sound of nu metal at times, he also used elements of Latin American reggae in the pure style of his compatriots from Los Cafres, including some traits of ska, and of a punk rock knocking on the door of pop punk. Versatile and precise, round spectacle of a born showman.
Talented, visionary and ostentatious, but also generous. The uncontrollable euphoria caused two or three crushes, where women, men and children felt suffocated by the crowd behind them, coupled, moreover, with the wait of more than 10 hours for some present who arrived since sunset to train and have a place near the Argentine rap star.
The moments of tension were well taken advantage of by Duki, who stopped the concert several times to leave an important message while handing out bottles and giving orders to establish hydration points throughout the forum: union even in the smallest expression of humanism is relevant and can save lives.
And it is that an artist of his stature, coming from below, coming out of the neighborhood, knows what it means to be indebted to the people, to pay attention to the most microscopic detail, it is the least that Duki can do to guarantee the safety of the fans who took him to the top.
For a moment, those who were on their way to the WTC’s Pepsi Center were overcome with panic when they learned that Mateo arrived at the Mexico City International Airport in a wheelchair. An injury to his foot that did not progress left him prostrate for a few hours.

Almost 12 hours later, the same as until a few minutes before entering the most important entertainment center in recent years in Mexico City, now they are heading towards the Metro, Metrobús and parking lot between tears and smiles from ear to ear, still shocked by the impressive work of the Argentine, others sweating to the hair, defeated by exhaustion, but standing before the hope that only art is capable of contributing to humanity.
At the same time, they exchange experiences from the absolute of their fanaticism, others, less technical, from the beers whoops that ran all night long; those in front, those behind, those in the middle, also those who preferred the stands or those who found their corner in the VIP bar. In the end, the sentiment was unanimous: Duki did phenomenal.
