With less than two weeks left before the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Ecuador has doubts about whether or not it will nominate Byron Castillo after the ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
This was recognized by Carlos Manzur, vice president of the Ecuadorian Football Federation, who in dialogue with Direct acknowledged that “we are making the necessary inquiries” to find out if they are at risk or not when citing the questioned player.
