The port of the mask is now mandatory in enclosed public places, raises a question, how to properly wear it without risking contamination to the coronavirus ?
The mask, whether it is surgical or fabric, requires a few precautions to put it, but also to remove it. Indeed, it can easily be contaminated, by yourself, on its inner side, by droplets from other people on its outer face.
How to apply and remove the mask
The first precaution to wash the hands with soap or disinfect it with the hydroalcoholic gel before you put it on and before you remove it.
Before you position the mask on your face, be sure to identify the parties both internal and external – in the case of the surgical masks the blue part, the darker, starts to the outside – but also high and low. The mask is more rigid on the top in order to be able to fix itself at the level of the nose.
The mask must be taken up by the elastic and put on the face before being unfolded from the nose to the chin is included using the top and bottom edges. It is then necessary to pinch the rigid portion at the level of the nose. If you have glasses and there is fog, it is ill-placed.
The gesture is the same to remove the mask : do it by the elastic.

The mistakes not to make
Once the mask is in place, it is important to avoid any contamination, do not touch it. This is not always obvious, but it is a reflex to take.
Similarly, it is out of the question to let it “hang” on his chin in the street before putting it back in place in a store, for example. If you are planning a shopping session, but that wearing a mask continuously is bothering you, take several with you in a pouch airtight.
The masks are single-use, which have a lifespan of 4 hours, carry up to their name : they must not be reused. This means that if you have public transport to take in the morning and evening to get to work, you must provide two masks.
It’s the same with the masks in fabric. Do not put off a mask that may have been contaminated before you wash. Be prepared !
