Jesse Koz was a content creator who traveled with his dog Shurastey, since 2017 the duo of adventurers had proposed cross the American continent from Brazil to Alaska, in the United States, passing through Canada.
According to the portal Correio Braziliense, Jesse Koz and his faithful companion died last Monday, May 23rd in a car accident on the Redwood highway (US 199), located in Oregon, United States, the penultimate of the countries to visit before arriving at your destination.

Both Shurastey and Jesse had Instagram accounts where they shared wonderful postcards from all their destinations, (although only the one with the dog was verified, since was the face of the viral trip); both had started from Fusca Rumo in Brazil and planned to reach Alaska; but before they passed through Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Panama, among other countries.
Although there are not many details about the fatal accident, it is known that his car crashed into a 2008 Chevrolete Escape truck on the aforementioned road. The surprise deathcaused his more than 300 thousand followers to be shocked by the fact, since they had been aware of his adventures for six years.

It should be noted that the charismatic Golden Retriever dog and his adventurous handler were traveling aboard a VW Beetle from 1970, which was also the star of many of his selfies and postcards.

Since 2017 + 85,000 kms for 17 countries”, while Jesse’s read “Either you die as a hero or live long enough to become a villain”, so many of his followers pointed out that his phrase would have made it clear that the traveler was now a hero.
